T here is no doubt that the world has greatly improved with the advent of all kinds of technological equipment. Communication has become so much easier that humans do not necessarily have to be together in a place to have a meaningful and productive conversation as well as transacting business in their day to day activities.

The world has been hit with the realization that technology and the internet are major keys to the survival of mankind, thus, the world is now moving to a dispensation whereby if you are computer illiterate, you will soon become obsolete and irrelevant.

The world presently is going through a major challenge that has never occurred in the history of the world, COVID 19 (Coronavirus). This pandemic has caused a lot of people to lose their jobs, economic meltdown, and schools and other social institutions being closed down. All in an attempt to curtail the spread of the virus which has led to the death of so many people in the world.

However, no matter how tough a problem is, there is a solution I will introduce to you a unique application called Zoom, and this application can connect business partners irrespective of their location. It can help students to continue with their studies right in their homes and allows people to socialize with each other despite the barriers the pandemic has brought.

However, it is important to know that there have been other video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, etc. before Zoom and because of the features it possesses such as being user friendly, less costly, ability to record meetings, etc. it has taken over other applications and has become the leading application for video conferencing in the world today.
